Pug Party, August 5th, 2006 |
| The day
dawned cloudy, but by the time our party started, the clouds were breaking
up and it turned into a wonderful sunny day.
It was a bittersweet party. My
sweet Louisie had passed away on Wednesday, the cancer won. Many of my
friends have known Louisie since 1998, when I started going to the pug
parties. I received lots of hugs. |

Pearl says, "Let's get this party started!!" |
Everyone gathered in the sunny weather. |
This sweet girl is Molly. She is being fostered with
Jennifer of Polar Pug Rescue. At 13 years young, she was turned into the
pound. Sigh...
We don't understand why someone would
do that.

Vicky runs Polar Pug Rescue. She was finally able to
come to a pug party (Normally she works on Saturdays) and she brought her gang. She
also brought a few rescues needing good homes. There seemed to be a
plethora of black pugs with her gang here! |

feet wet in the grass! |
The pug on the leash is a rescue pug needing a home. His
name is Louie. He is deaf, but a very handsome fellow!! |

(Above and below) The pugs gathered
in packs around whoever
was handing out treats at that moment. |

standing on the stool!! |
A good time was had by all. |

For those asking: Gumpy stayed home
with Max the bulldog. We were dogsitting, plus Gumpy was a tad under the
weather, so he and Max hung out together back home. |
Beau passed out when we got back home. |
Thelma crashed, too. |
Odie says, "I'm ready to go again!!" |
