Pug Party- January 9th, 2010

Anchorage, Alaska

Another clear, but cold, day in Anchorage, Alaska. The pugs and their people stayed warm indoors at Arctic Tails Doggy Daycare for the January pug party!

A lot of old friends were there, plus several newcomers! A good time was had by all. I was able to get several 'portrait' photographs at this party. I am trying to match people to pugs via pictures.

This is Beepers. She loves pug parties! Buffy liked sitting on a chair for comfort. Elizabeth & John brought Mater. He hasn't been to a pug party in awhile. He played and played! Ichiro with his boy.
Frank is up for adoption. He's already lost 6 lbs, and will be able to go when he's lost a bit more. He's a friendly guy who actually loves his walks. (Above and below) Dreyfus, the brindle pug, came with Lucy (the pug below in the red collar). Dreyfus loves pug parties, and even danced for me! Lucy was ready to go home. LOL
Buck is a successful rescue. He loves his new family.
Larry the pug is a newcomer. He's about 2 years old and had a blast playing with many of the other pugs! David is holding Snorticus (Snort for short). And Susie (to the right) is his other pug. They are all pug-party regulars.
Jane is holding Vickie's Bilbo. Jane's Pearl is by her feet. Cash, the beagle, is a recent refugee from Dutch Harbor, Alaska. He is a wonderful guy looking for his forever home. He loves his food, and is on a diet right now, but he'll make someone a great companion.
People and pugs everywhere! Everyone had a great time!  Above is Talus & Misty (people on left). On right, with their pug, Vicky, sniffing a bum.
Pug bums and pug faces.. We had them coming and going! Vickie (president of Polar Pug Rescue) says 'hi' to her brood. Notice how she is a dog 'magnet'. They love her!
Pointing out a tidbit the pugs missed. Pixie came with her 'grandma', her owner was at school. In the very right-hand pic is Pixie's 'brother', Smokey.
Looks like everyone is winding down. MJ's gang looks like they are waiting for a bus. *LOL* Rumble is a puggle in Polar Pug Rescue. He's sniffing noses with Vito in the second picture.
Do you mind? Odie Gus Gus & Chloe needed a potty break, but no paparazzi's! This is Vito with his mom, Misty. In the left-hand pic, Jenni is holding Tootsie. She has Lilly, a rescue rescue success, but Lilly never held still for a good photo. I managed to get Lilly's bum in the right-hand picture.
